The purpose of this study was to determine the biodistribution of 99mTc-tetrofosmin during intravenous infusion of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and to evaluate the potential diagnostic value of myocardial tomography with 99mTc-tetrofosmin during ATP infusion for the detection of coronary artery disease. METHODS: Myocardial 99mTc-tetrofosmin imaging with ATP infusion and coronary arteriography were performed on 65 patients with suspected coronary artery disease. ATP was infused intravenously at a rate of 0.16 mg/kg/min for 5 min, and 370 MBq of 99mTc-tetrofosmin was injected 3 min after the start of ATP infusion. Myocardial SPECT imags were obtained 60 min later. Then, 740 MBq of 99mTc-tetrofosmin was administered at rest, and myocardial SPECT was repeated. Regional uptakes of 99mTc-tetrofosmin were scored from 4, normal, to 0, no activity. Serial 5-min planar images were obtained in the anterior projection at 15, 30, 45 and 60 min after the 99mTc-tetrofosmin injection in 10 patients. Heart-to-lung and heart-to-liver count ratios were defined from the serial planar images. RESULTS: Adverse effects of ATP infusion were mild and transient. A heart-to-lung ratio after ATP infusion was high even at 15 min (3.40 +/- 0.33) and gradually increased with time. A heart-to-liver ratio after ATP was 0.53 +/- 0.40 at 15 min and increased with time. A heart-to-liver ratio reached 0.99 +/- 0.25 (p < 0.01) after 45 min and 1.32 +/- 0.36 (p < 0.01) after 60 min. The sensitivity and specificity for detecting coronary artery disease by myocardial SPECT with ATP were 89% (39/44) and 86% (18/21), respectively. CONCLUSION: This study shows the favorable biodistribution of 99mTc-tetrofosmin after intravenous infusion of ATP. A one-day imaging protocol of 99mTc-tetrofosmin tomography with ATP is feasible and has high diagnostic accuracy for coronary artery disease.  相似文献

Apatite formation in the living body is an essential requirement for artificial materials to exhibit bone-bonding bioactivity. It has been recently revealed that sulfonic groups trigger apatite nucleation in a body environment. Organic–inorganic hybrids consisting of organic polymers and the sulfonic groups are therefore expected to be useful for preparation of novel bone-repairing materials exhibiting flexibility as well as bioactivity. In the present study, organic–inorganic hybrids were prepared from hydroxyethylmethacrylate (HEMA) in the presence of vinylsulfonic acid sodium salt (VSAS) and calcium chloride (CaCl2). The bioactivities of the hybrids were assessed in vitro by examining the apatite formation in simulated body fluid (SBF, Kokubo solution). The hybrids deposited on the apatite after soaking in SBF within 7 days. Tensile strength measurements showed a tendency to increase with increases in VSAS and CaCl2 content. It was assumed that this phenomenon was attributed to the formation of cross-linking in the hybrids.  相似文献

The electrochemical performances of an electrical double layer capacitor were investigated regarding the activated carbon prepared from bamboo by a new approach, that is, the combination of delignification, addition of guanidine phosphate, and CO2 activation. In this study, a 1 M H2SO4 aqueous solution was used as the electrolyte of the capacitor. The physical properties, such as the BET specific surface area of the carbon material, depend on the preparation conditions of the activated carbon. A TEM image indicated that the addition of guanidine phosphate did not facilitate the graphitization and did not prevent activation by CO2. The apparent reaction equation for the CO2 activation was first-order, which is reasonable for physical activation. The electrochemical performances of the carbon material depended on the preparation conditions of the carbon material, such as the heat treatment temperature, amount of added guanidine phosphate, and CO2 activation time. The sample prepared under the following conditions (the amount of added guanidine phosphate: 9 wt%, the heat treatment temperature: 800 °C, CO2 activation time: 3 h) had the highest performance (153 F g?1 at 1000 mA g?1) because the sample had the highest BET specific surface area (2001 m2 g?1).  相似文献

Since graphene is a type of 2D carbon material with excellent mechanical, electrical, thermal, and optical properties, the efficient preparation of graphene macroscopic assemblies is significant in the potentially large‐scale application of graphene sheets. Conventional preparation methods of graphene macroscopic assemblies need strict conditions, and, once formed, the assemblies cannot be edited, reshaped, or recycled. Herein, inspired by the biomineralization process, a feasible approach of shapeable, multimanipulatable, and recyclable gel‐like composite consisting of graphene oxide/poly(acrylic acid)/amorphous calcium carbonate (GO‐PAA‐ACC) is designed. This GO‐PAA‐ACC material can be facilely synthesized at room temperature with a cross‐linking network structure formed during the preparation process. Remarkably, it is stretchable, malleable, self‐healable, and easy to process in the wet state, but tough and rigid in the dried state. In addition, these two states can be readily switched by adjusting the water content, which shows recyclability and can be used for 3D printing to form varied architectures. Furthermore, GO‐PAA‐ACC can be functionalized or processed to meet a variety of specific application requirements (e.g., energy‐storage, actuators). The preparation method of GO‐PAA‐ACC composite in this work also provides a novel strategy for the versatile macroscopic assembly of other materials, which is low‐cost, efficient, and convenient for broad application.  相似文献

Tricalcium phosphate (TCP) ceramic is known in orthopedics to be a bioresorbable bone substitute. A porous TCP ceramic body also has high potential as a drug delivery system in bony defects. Porous alpha-TCP ceramic can be easily fabricated using conventional sintering of beta-TCP, since alpha-TCP is the thermodynamically stable phase at temperatures above 1 100 degrees C. However, the solubility of alpha-TCP is much higher than that of beta-TCP. Therefore, the dissolution of porous alpha-TCP progresses at a higher rate than bone repair. In the present study, we attempted to reduce the dissolution rate of porous alpha-TCP by employing an organic polymer coating. We fabricated porous alpha-TCP ceramic with a continuous 10-50 microm diameter pore structure by sintering a body made from a beta-TCP and potato starch slurry. The porous body obtained was coated with hydroxypropylcellulose (HPC), and then subjected to heat treatment. The chemical durability and mechanical properties of the body were examined before and after coating with the HPC. The dissolution of porous alpha-TCP in buffered solutions was reduced by coating with HPC and drying at 60 degrees C. The compressive strength of the porous alpha-TCP was also improved by coating with HPC. The results of in vivo experiments showed that some parts of the porous alpha-TCP ceramic coated with HPC remained in the canal of the tibia of a rabbit four weeks after implantation, whereas no residual was observed in a non-coated alpha-TCP ceramic. Coating with HPC was found to be effective for controlling bioresorption and improving the workability of porous alpha-TCP ceramic. The prepared porous alpha-TCP ceramic is expected to be useful as a novel material for bone fillers by incorporating it with drugs or osteoinductive factors.  相似文献

We look on the cotton fiber reinforced plastics as industrial gear materials, and have been developing design systems for industrial gears made of cotton fiber-reinforced plastics. In this report, we deal with a method estimating for tooth root stresses caused by bending movements under running conditions. The gear material used was cotton fiber plain woven cloth reinforced phenolic resin laminates. Paper-reinforced phenolic resin laminates, a commonly used material, was used as a control for comparison. The main dimensions of the gears were module 3–5 mm and tooth width 25 mm. First, accelerations of gears were measured under running conditions to estimate dynamic performance. Second, fracture tests of gear teeth were carried out under bending loads. Different fracture modes at tooth roots for cotton fiber-reinforced plastics and phenolic resin gears were observed. The fractures occurred at a high position from the tooth root in the case of the cotton fiber-reinforced plastics gear because the cotton fiber-reinforced plastics had excellent cleavage and shear strength. This gear also had higher strength for tooth bending loads. Third, the mechanical properties of the gears were researched by tensile, bending, and shearing tests. It was clear that the cotton fiber-reinforced plastics had excellent properties in cleavage fracture between laminates and shear strength. Finally, we proposed a design method for this gear, which considers the cleavage and shear strength.  相似文献

We report pulsed-jet deposition of single-wall and double-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs and DWNTs; CNTs) onto a clean Cu(111) surface and their scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) observations under ultra-high vacuum (UHV). The clean Cu(111) surface prepared by a repeated Ar-sputtering and annealing is introduced into a load-lock chamber kept at a 10(-5)-Pa range vacuum, and the CNTs dispersed in a chloroform solution by ultrasonication are pulse-injected onto the surface. Since the substrate is annealed at 700 K to remove the residual solvent molecules, high resolution lattice images of the CNTs are successfully observed by STM. High-resolution chirality-resolved images of the two SWNTs with a metal cluster are also observed, supporting the well accepted growth mechanism of the CNTs from the metal-catalyst cluster. The present pulsed-jet deposition in high-vacuum is superior to the conventional spin-coating or drop-coating techniques for preparing clean and well-defined CNTs on clean surfaces for high-resolution and contamination-free UHV-STM observation.  相似文献

Mycobacterium phlei WU-F1 possesses the ability to convert dibenzothiophene (DBT) to 2-hydroxybiphenyl with the release of inorganic sulfur over a wide temperature range from 20 degrees C to 50 degrees C. The conversion is initiated by consecutive sulfur atom-specific oxidations by two monooxygenases, and a flavin reductase is essential in combination with these flavin-dependent monooxygenases. The flavin reductase gene (frm) of M. phlei WU-F1, which encodes a protein of 162 amino acid residues with a molecular weight of 17,177, was cloned and the deduced amino acid sequence shares approximately 30% identity with those of several flavin reductases in two protein-component monooxygenases. It was confirmed that the coexpression of frm with the DBT-desulfurization genes (bdsABC) from M. phlei WU-F1 was critical for high DBT-desulfurizing ability over a wide temperature range from 20 degrees C to 55 degrees C. The frm gene was overexpressed in Escherichia coli cells, and the enzyme (Frm) was purified to homogeneity from the recombinant cells. The purified Frm was found to be a 34-kDa homodimeric protein with a monomeric molecular mass of 17 kDa. Frm exhibited high flavin reductase activity over a wide temperature range, and in particular, the turnover rate for FMN reduction with NADH as the electron donor reached 564 s(-1) at 50 degrees C, which is one of the highest activities among all of the flavin reductases previously reported. Intriguingly, Frm also exhibited a high ferric reductase activity.  相似文献

We fabricated new 2.78‐in 1058‐ppi organic light‐emitting diode (OLED) displays. The displays used OLED devices with a tandem structure and a single structure and a field effect transistor (FET) using c‐axis aligned crystalline In–Ga–Zn–O (CAAC‐IGZO) for an active layer and employing the 1.5‐µm rule over a glass substrate. Even in the displays with such high resolution exceeding 1000 ppi, crosstalk that was observed in the lower luminance region was suppressed. The displays achieved high color reproducibility and reduced viewing angle dependence.  相似文献
